About Mosquito Tek
Mosquito Tek officially opened for business in 2011 in Durham North Carolina as a mosquito control company focused on providing mosquito spraying services to companies and residents in and around the Durham area. The owner, Brendon Cordell, realized the ever increasing demand for high quality and effective mosquito treatment plans that could be both affordable and provided without the need to lock his customers into any long term contracts, so business grew rapidly as word spread throughout the Triangle area that Mosquito Tek not only had the most effective treatments available, but everything was affordable and carried money back guarantees.
Expansion of Mosquito Control Services
Mosquito Tek saw extremely rapid growth between 2016 to 2017 as new corporate offices were opened in North Raleigh at 2210 Page Rd just off US70, and 2 more satellite offices were also opened, one in Chapel Hill at 407 Thornwood Drive, and one in South Raleigh at 30 Natalie Drive. The new corporate offices provide a strategic location for both supply and dispatch, and the satellite offices have allowed for expanded service areas to locations like Fuquay Varina, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Garner, Clayton, and Apex. The Chapel Hill offices have been instrumental in providing services to Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough. The convenience of the 4 offices has also helped in offering same day service guarantees to more customers covering a larger swath of area.
Mosquito Tek provides 2 main types of mosquito spray treatments:
Conventional spraying is for areas where mosquitoes are heavily concentrated and when the most effective method is desired. The conventional mosquito spray also lasts the longest, with treatments that are effective up to 3 weeks.
Organic spraying is available for those that are concerned with making sure there is as little impact as possible on both wildlife and plant life in areas where the treatment will be done, with effectiveness of up to 2 weeks.
Flea and Tick Control Services
As a value added service that is provided at no additional cost to customers who order mosquito control treatments, Mosquito Tek includes flea and tick prevention within the same areas that are being sprayed for mosquitoes.
